New website for your BRSS pension: MyWorkplace

Aviva provides the administration services to the Trustee for the Babcock Retirement Pension Scheme (BRSS). These services include access to your personal record on the internet through Aviva’s own website that you can access via oneday…

The Trustee has been working with Aviva over several months to improve the website for members and introduce new functions. The new website, called ‘MyWorkplace’, is expected to launch in October 2021, and Aviva will soon be in contact with all members of the BRSS to let you know about the launch date and what you need to do to re-register.

What will change?

The new website, called MyWorkplace, will do everything that the current website does, but you’ll also be able to self-service, for example, you’ll be able to amend your personal information in real-time. You will also be able to model your benefits and manage the funds your pension is invested in. In addition, you'll have access to a new app so you can access information about your pension at any time, anywhere.

You will need to re-register to access the new site, as we are unable to carry across your login and password details from the existing site for personal data protection and security reasons. The new registration process is straightforward and secure, allowing you immediate access to your personal record. You can also download the MyWorkplace mobile app, so you can access your pension via both Android and iOS devices.

Aviva will contact you soon with further information on how to activate your MyWorkplace account. This will include a unique activation code so make sure you keep an eye out for it. The email will be sent to either your work or personal email, whichever you have registered on your BRSS pension or via oneday…. Any members that have not registered an email with Aviva or the Trustee will receive their activation code by post.

Once you’ve registered for MyWorkplace, you’ll need to answer a couple of security questions to access your pension details, so it may be useful to have your policy documents to hand. Alternatively, you can unlock with photo verification using a valid UK driving licence or passport.

You don’t need to do anything right now. Aviva will contact you ahead of the MyWorkplace launch date to let you know how you access the new site, including details of how to re-register.
