Who looks after the BRSS?

The BRSS is run by a Trustee Board which acts in the best interest of members. The Trustees work with a number of advisers who provide specialist advice in certain areas such as investments. Here is a list of the Trustee Directors and their advisers.

External organisations

MoneyHelper - is a government-supported service that brings together the Money Advice Service, The Pensions Advisory Service and Pension Wise. The aim is to help people throughout the UK to have the guidance and access to the information they need to make good financial decisions over their lifetime. The service not only covers pension guidance, but also debt advice and money guidance. The service is free and is available online or over the phone and provides clear money and pensions guidance, as well as pointers to trusted services if you need more support.

The Pensions Regulator (TPR) - works with employers and Trustees helping to protect workplace pensions in the UK.

Unbiased - helps you find the right expert financial adviser for your needs.

Pension Tracing Service - a free service to help you find a lost pension or details about a past scheme you may have been a member of.

The Pensions Ombudsman (TPO) - if you have a complaint about the Scheme, firstly get in touch with the Pensions Team. If you’re still not satisfied with the outcome, TPO is an independent organisation set up by law to investigate complaints about pension schemes administered in the UK. This service is free and impartial.

Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) - find out more about pension scams and how to avoid them, as well as what to do if you think you’re being targeted by scammers.
